As an Occupational Therapist with Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust, working at Band 6 within inpatient settings, you will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients with orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Collaborating closely with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams, you will develop and deliver personalised programmes aimed at promoting recovery, independence and improved function.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ functional abilities related to orthopaedic and neurological conditions.

  • Develop, implement and review individualised occupational therapy intervention plans in line with best practice.

  • Work collaboratively with patients, carers and professionals to coordinate care and support discharge planning.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with NHS and professional standards.

  • Provide education, advice and training to patients, families and colleagues to support rehabilitation and occupational engagement.

  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the occupational therapy service.
