View JobHarrow Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Personal Advisor to join their Children’s Child Protection (CP) Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people and care leavers, providing crucial support as they transition to independence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with vulnerable adolescents and a solid understanding of statutory responsibilities under the Children (Leaving Care) Act.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide advice, guidance, and practical support to young people aged 16+ who are leaving care or preparing for independence.

Work closely with Social Workers to contribute to Pathway Plans and ensure young people receive appropriate services and opportunities.

Develop and maintain trusting relationships with young people to support emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes.

Monitor progress and review pathway plans regularly to ensure needs are met and transitions are smooth.

Liaise with education, housing, health, and employment services to coordinate multi-agency support.

Maintain clear, accurate case records and comply with statutory duties and Harrow Council policies.
