View JobAs a Social Worker within Hertfordshire Council’s Children in Need (CIN) Team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and their families. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to assess needs, provide support, and ensure children receive timely and effective interventions to improve their safety, wellbeing, and development.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs, risks, and strengths, and develop appropriate intervention plans.

Provide direct support and guidance to children and families to address safeguarding concerns, promote resilience, and improve outcomes.

Collaborate closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to coordinate effective support and ensure a joined-up approach to care.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and documentation in line with legal and council standards.

Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to maintain best practice and compliance with statutory frameworks.
