In this role, you will support the recruitment, assessment, supervision, and development of foster carers, ensuring placements meet the needs of looked-after children and promote positive long-term outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess and approve foster carers: Undertake Form F assessments and present cases to the fostering panel in line with national fostering regulations.

Provide supervision and support: Offer regular visits, reflective supervision, and tailored support to foster carers to promote stability and high standards of care.

Match children with appropriate placements: Work closely with placement teams and children’s social workers to ensure suitable, child-centred foster placements.

Deliver training and development: Contribute to foster carer preparation groups and ongoing training to build skills, resilience, and compliance with fostering standards.
