Bexley Council is seeking a proactive and skilled Referral and Assessment Social Worker to join our front-line team. This key role involves assessing referrals and providing timely, effective interventions to safeguard children and support families at the earliest stage.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake initial assessments of referrals to identify risks and needs of children and families.

Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.

Manage a caseload of children in need and those requiring safeguarding support.

Prepare detailed reports for child protection conferences, legal proceedings, and case reviews.

Work closely with multi-agency teams to ensure coordinated responses and promote child welfare.
