Lead and manage a social work team within Brent Council, ensuring high-quality, timely statutory assessments and interventions for children or adults in line with relevant legislation.

Provide professional leadership, supervision, and support to social workers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and reflective practice.

Oversee complex cases, providing guidance and decision-making support to ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users.

Develop and implement service plans and strategies to meet Brent Council’s objectives and statutory duties, promoting positive outcomes for vulnerable children or adults.

Collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners including health, education, police, and voluntary sector to ensure integrated, person-centred support.

Monitor team performance and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with Social Work England standards and Brent Council policies.
