  • Support service users to achieve goals in self-care, productivity and leisure.
  • Contribute to discharge planning by providing holistic OT assessments to inform positive transitions to the community.
  • Deliver 1:1 interventions, facilitate group work and support access to community resources.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to further develop and enhance the OT programme.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with Trust and HCPC standards.

Support, Supervision & Development

  • Structured induction programme to support your transition into the role.
  • Support to complete preceptorship if not already achieved.
  • Regular managerial and professional supervision.
  • Monthly OT CPD events and opportunities to contribute to quality improvement and service development.
  • Ongoing professional development encouraged through appraisal.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Interest or experience in acute mental health settings.
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to work within, the MOHO framework.
