Role Overview
A Band 6 Occupational Therapist is required to support community-based services linked to Basildon Hospital. This locum role offers an opportunity to work within a community setting, delivering occupational therapy interventions to support patient independence and safe care pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention within a community setting.
- Support patients to maximise independence and functional ability.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to discharge planning and community-based care pathways.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with Trust standards.
Skills & Experience Required
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working at Band 6 level.
- Previous NHS experience desirable.
- Ability to work autonomously within a community environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
