Tripod Partners is looking to hire a Band 7 or 8 Pharmacist for an NHS service in Epping, Essex. This temporary role offers a pay rate of £29 – £36 per hour, based on experience, with a chance to make a significant impact within the service.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient departments within the NHS.
  • Lead on medication management services, including reviewing prescriptions, conducting clinical interventions, and advising on the use of medicines.
  • Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure the best pharmaceutical outcomes for patients.
  • Offer guidance to medical and nursing staff regarding medication therapies, dosages, interactions, and side effects.
  • Deliver patient education, including counselling on drug regimens and potential side effects.
  • Supervise and mentor junior pharmacy staff, contributing to their professional development.

Requirements:

  • GPhC Registration as a Pharmacist.
  • Previous experience in NHS hospital settings, with strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • A patient-centred approach, with a focus on high-quality service delivery.
