Specialist Occupational Therapist – Band 6

We are seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist (Band 6) to join the Intensive Rehab & Therapy Service.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct independent assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for patients in inpatient rehabilitation.

Facilitate safe discharges and provide necessary equipment.

Apply recognised outcome measures to track patient progress.
-
Participate in family meetings to support patient care planning.
-
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality rehabilitation services.
Skills & Experience Required
-
Qualified Occupational Therapist with post-qualification experience, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
-
Previous NHS experience is desirable.
-
Strong assessment, treatment, and discharge planning skills.
Working Hours

Shifts: 08:30 – 16:30
