North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Paediatric Physiotherapist to join its children’s therapy team. Working 36 hours per week, this community-based role focuses on supporting children and young people with a variety of physical and developmental needs. The post offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a holistic service that empowers families, promotes independence, and ensures children have the support they need to thrive at home, in school, and in the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based interventions for children and young people across community settings.

  • Provide specialist advice on and facilitate the provision of mobility aids, postural management equipment, and physical adaptations to support functional independence.

  • Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with families, schools, and multi-disciplinary colleagues.

  • Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans in response to clinical need, ensuring goals are realistic, achievable, and child-focused.

  • Support parents and carers with education and training to optimise outcomes in the home and school environments.

  • Maintain clear and accurate clinical records in accordance with Trust policies, and contribute to audits, service development, and professional learning.
