Scrub Nurse – Theatre
Tripod Partners are looking for experienced Scrub Nurses to join the theatre team in Basildon. This role involves working within a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting various procedures across multiple specialities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled assistance during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
- Prepare operating theatres, instruments, and equipment before surgery.
- Support the surgical team with instrumentation, swab counts, and patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with anaesthetic and recovery teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Position Details
Location: Basildon
Work Pattern: Full-time, shift-based (including nights and weekends)
Pay Rates:
- Weekday: £20.12 per hour
- Saturday & Nights: £25.85 per hour
- Sundays & Bank Holidays: £30.52 per hour
Requirements
- NMC registered nurse with previous scrub experience.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team within a theatre environment.
- Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
