Brief Job Overview

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Specialist Physiotherapist – Band 6 to join NELFT in Havering, supporting MSK Programme Delivery. This ongoing locum opportunity is suited to an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who is confident managing a clinical caseload within a clinic setting.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of MSK patients, complete appropriate onward referrals and discharge patients when appropriate. The role also requires accurate and timely completion of electronic patient records and the ability to work effectively within a clinic-based service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload of MSK patients within a clinic setting.
• Provide appropriate physiotherapy assessment and management for MSK patients.
• Complete appropriate onward referrals where further assessment or treatment is required.
• Discharge patients appropriately following completion of their physiotherapy pathway.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic patient records.
• Work effectively as part of the MSK Programme Delivery service.
• Attend clinic-based shifts as required.

About You

We are looking for a Specialist Physiotherapist with significant MSK experience who is confident managing a clinical caseload within a clinic environment. You will have the ability to make appropriate decisions regarding onward referrals and patient discharge.

You will be organised and committed to maintaining accurate electronic patient records, with the ability to work effectively within an NHS clinical environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Physiotherapist with appropriate professional registration.
• Significant Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy experience.
• Experience managing a clinical caseload within a clinic setting.
• Ability to complete appropriate onward referrals.
• Ability to discharge patients appropriately following treatment.
• Experience maintaining accurate and timely electronic patient records.
• NHS Smartcard.
• Rio trained.
• Ability to attend clinic-based shifts.
