Provide a strength-based intervention plan in conjunction with the client that enables them to live well in their communities through the provision of advice, therapeutic interventions, equipment and adaptations. To provide a client centred approach to assisting people with complex disabilities to achieve their maximum level of functioning and independence in their own homes. Occupational Therapy interventions focus on adapting the environment, modifying the task, teaching skills and educating clients and families in order to eliminate environmental barriers to independence.
