Devon County Council is looking for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join our dedicated Child Protection Team. Key Responsibilities:

Hold and manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need Plans, and legal proceedings.

Undertake statutory assessments, risk analysis, and direct work with children and families.

Prepare and present high-quality reports for child protection conferences, reviews, and court hearings.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure a multi-agency response to safeguarding concerns.

Maintain accurate case notes and comply with statutory requirements and organisational policies.
