View Job- Undertake statutory assessments and deliver services for children and families on behalf of Lancashire County Council, ensuring timely interventions that promote safety and wellbeing.
- Develop and implement child-centred care and protection plans, working in partnership with families to support positive outcomes and reduce risk.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams, including schools, health professionals, and police, to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records, ensuring compliance with legislation such as the Children Act 1989/2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
- Advocate for children and young people, ensuring their voices are central to planning and decision-making processes.
- Engage in regular supervision and continuous professional development, staying informed of best practices, policy updates, and legal frameworks in children’s social care.
