Carry out statutory duties for Derbyshire County Council within Children’s Services, supporting children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children pathways.

Complete timely and high-quality assessments in line with the Children Act 1989, focusing on safeguarding, permanency planning, and achieving positive outcomes.

Build effective relationships with children, young people, and families to ensure their voices are central to all planning and intervention.

Prepare analytical, evidence-based reports for court proceedings, child protection conferences, and statutory reviews.

Work closely with multi-agency partners including schools, health professionals, and police to deliver coordinated and effective support.

Participate in regular supervision, ongoing training, and reflective practice to maintain professional standards and contribute to service improvement in Derbyshire.
