Brief Job Overview
Tripod Partners are recruiting a Band 6 Physiotherapist for a locum role within North Wales NHS. This position involves delivering physiotherapy assessments and treatment to support patients with a range of physical conditions, helping them improve mobility, manage symptoms, and maintain independence.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Physiotherapist will contribute to the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients. The role focuses on providing physiotherapy interventions that support recovery, promote functional independence, and improve overall physical wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out physiotherapy assessments for patients presenting with a range of physical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that support rehabilitation and functional recovery.
- Provide physiotherapy interventions aimed at improving mobility and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.
- Provide advice and education to patients regarding rehabilitation and self-management.
About You
You will be a qualified Physiotherapist with experience working within NHS services. You will demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage a caseload of patients requiring physiotherapy support.
You will be comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team and supporting rehabilitation programmes designed to improve patient outcomes and independence.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working within NHS physiotherapy services.
- Ability to assess and manage a physiotherapy caseload.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
