Lead and manage a team of social workers within Durham County Council, ensuring the delivery of high-quality statutory assessments and interventions for children and families.

Provide professional supervision, support, and development to social workers, promoting a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning.

Oversee complex and high-risk cases, offering guidance and decision-making to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.

Develop and implement service plans and strategies to meet Durham County Council’s statutory duties and local priorities.

Collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners including health, education, police, and voluntary sector to provide coordinated and child-centred support.
