Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is seeking a confident and experienced Advanced Practitioner to lead on complex casework and champion high standards of social work practice.

Deliver expert interventions and manage complex safeguarding and assessment work in line with the relevant legislative frameworks (e.g. Children Act 1989 or Care Act 2014).

Provide mentoring, guidance, and reflective supervision to social workers, supporting their professional growth and development.

Promote strengths-based, person-centred approaches that empower individuals and families to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.

Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure integrated, responsive, and effective service delivery.
