Pharmacy Technician – HMP Holme House

We have an exciting opportunity for two Pharmacy Technicians to join the healthcare team at HMP Holme House, supporting a 7-day pharmacy service within the prison. This is a rewarding and dynamic role where you’ll play a crucial part in delivering essential healthcare to those in custody.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing, supplying, and administering medications in line with prescriptions
  • Conducting medicines reconciliation for new arrivals and inpatients
  • Providing medication advice and education to prisoners and staff
  • Ensuring compliance with controlled drug regulations and prison security policies
  • Supporting safe and effective stock management of medications
  • Working closely with nurses, GPs, and prison officers to ensure seamless healthcare delivery

Role Details:

? Location: HMP Holme House
? Shift Times: 07:00 – 16:00, Monday – Sunday available
? Pay Rates (Umbrella Company payment):

  • £25 per hour – Weekdays
  • £26.50 per hour – Weekends
  • £35 per hour – Bank Holidays

? PAYE rates are also available – please enquire for details.

Requirements:

?? Registered Pharmacy Technician
?? Understanding of controlled drugs and secure medication management
?? Current Prison Clearance is a must
