In this leadership role, you will support and guide social workers, manage complex cases, and contribute to the ongoing development of excellent safeguarding and family support practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on complex and high-risk cases, ensuring the highest standards of child protection and family intervention.

  • Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced social workers, supporting their professional growth.

  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including education, health, and police, to deliver coordinated child-centred services.

  • Contribute to practice development and quality assurance, helping to embed best practice across the service.
