Join Darlington Borough Council’s Adult Social Care team as a Qualified Social Worker, supporting adults to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their communities.

Undertake statutory assessments, care planning, and safeguarding interventions in line with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other relevant legislation.

Manage a diverse caseload including individuals with physical disabilities, mental health needs, learning disabilities, and those requiring hospital discharge support.

Work in close partnership with families, carers, health professionals, and voluntary sector organisations to provide holistic, person-centred care.

Apply strengths-based and outcome-focused practice, ensuring service users are empowered to make informed decisions and access the right level of support.
