View JobBand 5 Prison Nurse – County Durham
We have an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 Prison Nurse to join the healthcare team in County Durham. This is a rewarding and fast-paced role where you will play a crucial part in delivering essential healthcare within a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting evening reception duties for new arrivals
- Administering medications and treatments in line with prescriptions
- Providing primary healthcare, triage, and emergency response
- Supporting patients with both physical and mental health needs
- Working collaboratively with prison officers and other healthcare professionals
- Ensuring compliance with prison security policies and clinical guidelines
Role Details:
? Location: County Durham
? Shift Times: 07:00 – 20:00, Monday – Friday (some weekend work available)
? Pay Rates (Umbrella Company payment):
- £30 per hour – Weekdays
- £31.50 per hour – Weekends
- £40 per hour – Bank Holidays
? PAYE rates are also available – please enquire for details.
Requirements:
?? Registered Nurse (NMC Pin) – Band 5
?? Must be able to conduct evening reception duties
?? Current Prison Clearance is a must
