Manage a varied caseload, completing timely and comprehensive assessments, and developing outcome-focused plans that prioritise the voice and welfare of the child.

Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to implement effective interventions that reduce risk and promote stability and wellbeing.

Prepare high-quality reports and case records for child protection conferences, looked after reviews, and legal proceedings, ensuring compliance with statutory and local authority standards.

Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development to support continuous improvement and personal accountability.

Contribute to team discussions, service development, and best practice sharing within Darlington Borough Council’s Children’s Services.
