Pharmacy Technician – Buckinghamshire

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to work with an NHS service in Buckinghamshire on a temporary contract (3-6 months). This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive healthcare environment offering competitive pay based on your experience.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions.
  • Ensure patient safety by checking and verifying prescription details.
  • Provide professional advice to patients regarding their prescribed medications and associated side effects.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and medications are stored safely and correctly.
  • Assist in the management of pharmaceutical supplies, including inventory control and ordering.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • GPhC Registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Prior experience in an NHS setting preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to strict regulatory and safety standards.
