ICU Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Tripod Partners are currently seeking experienced ICU Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit in Bristol. This role requires full-time availability across 7 days a week for a minimum of 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialist critical care to patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, monitoring vital signs, and responding to rapid changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications, infusions, and ventilator support in accordance with ICU protocols.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, including doctors, physiotherapists, and support staff.
• Provide post-operative and trauma care, supporting patients through recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control measures.

Position Details:

• Location: Bristol
• Work Pattern: Full-time, 7 days a week (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
• Contract Length: 3 months minimum
• Rates:
• Weekday: £26.00 per hour
• Nights & Saturdays: £32.00 per hour
• Sundays & Bank Holidays: £40.00 per hour
• Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) – NMC registered.
• Proven experience working in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
• Strong knowledge of ventilators, haemodynamic monitoring, and life support techniques.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
