Job details: Speech and Language Therapist required for Integrated Community Stroke Service. To provide assessment and rehabilitation for people after stroke leaving hospital and long term with communication and swallowing problems. The postholder should have relevant stroke and neuro experience as majority of the caseload is working with people with aphasia, apraxia of speech, CCD and dysphagia. Ideally a car driver but not essential. All work is in people’s homes if they have a car. The service will consider someone who does not have a car but could see patients from a clinic setting, if they were able to work in either Brislington, Cadbury Heath or possibly Easton location. Ideally, they should be dysphagia trained. Working hours: 08.30 – 16.30.
