We are seeking an experienced and proactive Adult Safeguarding Social Worker to join our safeguarding team. In this role, you will lead on adult safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014, working with vulnerable adults who may be at risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. You will promote empowerment, protection, and the rights of adults in need of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake safeguarding enquiries and investigations in line with statutory duties under the Care Act 2014.

Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals, including health, police, and housing, to assess risk and implement safeguarding plans.

Support adults at risk to make informed choices and ensure that their views are central to all decision-making and planning.

Maintain accurate and timely case records, contribute to strategy meetings, and provide high-quality safeguarding reports.
