Lead and manage a team of social workers within Bracknell Forest Borough Council’s Children’s Services, ensuring high-quality service delivery across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases.

Provide reflective supervision, professional guidance, and performance management to promote effective, child-centred practice and continuous development within the team.

Oversee the allocation and progression of cases, ensuring timely assessments, care planning, and statutory interventions in accordance with the Children Act 1989.

Support the development of strong multi-agency partnerships, coordinating safeguarding responses and care packages that improve outcomes for children and families.

Contribute to service planning, audits, and quality assurance activities, driving improvements in practice, compliance, and outcomes across the service.

Promote a positive team culture, encouraging learning, innovation, and accountability to support a stable and effective workforce.
