Deliver statutory social work services for West Berkshire Council, managing a caseload of complex cases in line with legislative frameworks and best practice standards.

Undertake assessments using a strengths-based approach under relevant legislation (e.g. Children Act 1989 or Care Act 2014), ensuring personalised and outcome-focused planning.

Work in partnership with individuals, families, and multi-agency professionals to promote safety, independence, and wellbeing.

Respond to safeguarding concerns through robust risk assessments, planning, and intervention, including Section 42 enquiries (adults) or Section 47 investigations (children).

Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for legal proceedings, statutory reviews, and case conferences, maintaining high professional standards.

Engage in regular supervision, reflective practice, and continuous professional development to uphold quality and compliance across the service.
