Paediatric Physiotherapist – Band 6
Brief Job Overview
Tripod Partners are recruiting a Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist for a locum role within the NHS. This position focuses on delivering physiotherapy assessment and treatment for children and young people within paediatric services.
The Physiotherapist will support children with a range of physical and developmental needs, helping to improve mobility, function, and overall wellbeing through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out paediatric physiotherapy assessments and interventions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Support children and young people to improve mobility and functional outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, schools, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with NHS standards.
- Provide advice and support to parents, carers, and other professionals involved in care.
About You
You will be a qualified Physiotherapist with experience working within paediatric services. You will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to deliver person-centred interventions for children and young people.
You will be confident working independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes for children and families.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Paediatric physiotherapy experience (essential).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
