Warwickshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of care planning and review processes for looked after children, safeguarding their welfare and promoting their best interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of care plans for looked after children, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Advocacy: Act as an advocate for looked after children, ensuring their rights and best interests are prioritized in all decisions.
Collaboration: Work closely with social workers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for children.
