Assignment Info

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Start Date: December & January

• Shift Schedule: Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights (Straights available upon request)

• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week

• OT Pay: After 40 hours

Pay Package (Weekly, 48 hrs Guaranteed)

• Weekly Gross: $3,616.00

• Taxable Income: $2,132.00 (Approx. $41.00/hr up to 40 hours)

• Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,484.00/week (tax-free)

• Overtime Rate: $61.50/hr

Job Duties

The ICU Stepdown RN provides specialized care to patients transitioning from critical care to a lower acuity level. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring complex patients requiring advanced assessment

• Managing drips, titrations, and cardiac monitoring

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

• Ensuring safe, evidence-based nursing practices

• May include charge responsibilities or precepting depending on experience

Requirements

• Active RN License (NY License ONLY)

• Two (2) Years Recent Stepdown or ICU Experience

• BLS & ACLS (AHA ONLY)

• Telemetry/Cardiac monitoring experience required
