Key Responsibilities:

Carry out assessments and interventions under the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation to ensure children’s safety and well-being.

Work directly with children and families to build trust, strengthen family networks, and support positive change through child protection, child in need, or court proceedings.

Develop and implement care and support plans, ensuring all decisions are informed by the child’s voice and focused on their best interests.

Liaise with schools, health services, and other professionals in a multi-agency context to promote integrated, child-centred support.
