As an Occupational Therapist with Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board, working on a three-month Band 6 contract, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention to adults with learning disabilities. Collaborating closely with service users, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver personalised programmes to promote independence, safety and quality of life.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults’ functional abilities and learning disability-related needs.

  • Develop, implement and review tailored intervention plans in line with best practice and individual goals.

  • Work in partnership with service users, carers and professionals to coordinate holistic care and support.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with NHS and professional standards.

  • Provide advice, education and training to service users, families and colleagues on promoting occupational engagement.

  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement within learning disabilities occupational therapy services.
