Job details: To start asap for 3 months initially. Occupational Therapist required to join the Therapies team at a category C prison for adult men with a range of varied health needs. This is a great opportunity to embed change and embed a shared culture with HMP and the probation service.
The post holder should be motivated to work with a range of clinical presentations, including mental and physical health, as learning disability and substance misuse and who is passionate in sharing the benefits of Occupational Therapy. They will work alongside Occupational Therapy colleagues as part of a wider healthcare team and be well supported within the role. Must have a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and an interest in working in the prison setting to reduce the impact of health inequalities
