Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a qualified and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Inpatient service. This role will focus on providing specialist occupational therapy within general medicine, with particular emphasis on equipment and adaptations to support patient independence and recovery.

Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients

Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes to support functional recovery and independence
-
Recommend and facilitate appropriate equipment and adaptations to promote safe daily living

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
-
Support patients and families with guidance, education, and practical advice to optimise outcomes

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to meet individual needs
