As an Occupational Therapist with the London Borough of Haringey Council, you will work with adults in community settings to deliver tailored assessments and interventions. Your role will focus on supporting independence and safety through the provision of equipment and adaptations, ensuring individuals can remain in their own homes wherever possible.

Carry out detailed assessments of adults within the community to identify functional needs and risks.

Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment and home adaptations to promote independence and safety.

Work collaboratively with service users, families and carers to provide practical solutions that meet individual needs.

Liaise with housing teams, contractors and other professionals to coordinate timely installation of adaptations.

Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional and council standards.

Provide expert advice and guidance on equipment and adaptations to colleagues and partner agencies
