View JobBolton Council is seeking a motivated and skilled Qualified Social Worker to work across both Adults and Children’s Services. This role involves delivering statutory social work interventions, assessments, and safeguarding to diverse service user groups. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred support to promote independence and wellbeing in adults, alongside safeguarding and care planning for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop support and care plans for adults with varied needs, including older people, mental health, and disabilities.

Manage safeguarding enquiries and interventions in line with the Care Act 2014 for adults and Children Act 1989 for children.

Carry a caseload within Children’s Services, including Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children.

Collaborate with families, carers, healthcare providers, and partner agencies to deliver holistic support.

Maintain accurate and timely records, prepare reports for statutory reviews, and attend relevant meetings and panels.
