Provide statutory social work services for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, supporting children and families across safeguarding, assessment, and looked after children teams.

Conduct timely and comprehensive assessments under the Children Act 1989, ensuring that children’s needs, safety, and wellbeing are at the forefront of all planning.

Build and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their voices inform all decisions and interventions.

Prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports for court proceedings, child protection conferences, and statutory reviews.

Collaborate with multi-agency partners including education, health, and the police to coordinate and deliver appropriate safeguarding responses.

Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development in accordance with Social Work England standards and local policy.
