In this frontline role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children at risk of significant harm. Our practice model is relationship-based and trauma-informed, supported by manageable caseloads, excellent supervision, and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out statutory assessments under the Children Act 1989 and manage cases where children are subject to child protection plans or care proceedings.

Work directly with children and families using a strengths-based approach to reduce risk and build resilience.

Prepare clear, concise court reports and attend court as required, providing evidence in public law proceedings.

Engage in multi-agency working, attending strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and core groups to coordinate child safety planning.
