We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Newham. This role is crucial in providing statutory services to children and families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in children’s statutory services, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Statutory Assessments: Conduct thorough statutory assessments of children’s needs and circumstances, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that promote the health, education, and emotional well-being of children.
- Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions to support children’s well-being and progress.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with foster carers, schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to deliver coordinated and effective support for children.
- Advocacy: Advocate for children’s rights and access to services, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
