The role focuses on providing high-quality, child-centred social work with children and young people in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and positive life outcomes. You will work closely with carers, families, and multi-agency partners to support permanency planning and promote stability.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of looked after children, ensuring timely assessments, care planning, and reviews in accordance with statutory guidance.

Work collaboratively with foster carers, residential providers, education, health, and other agencies to support children’s developmental needs.

Prepare reports for Looked After Reviews, Child Protection Conferences, and court proceedings, and represent the local authority as required.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with Ealing Council’s policies and legal requirements.
