Act on behalf of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council to manage a complex caseload involving high-risk Child Protection, Looked After Children, and Court proceedings, using advanced knowledge of legislation and best practice.

Support less experienced staff through mentoring, advice, and informal supervision, promoting reflective practice and professional development within the team.

Lead on complex assessments, care planning, and interventions, ensuring that the voice of the child is central to all decision-making and statutory requirements are met.

Contribute to quality assurance and service improvement by auditing casework, supporting performance monitoring, and identifying areas for development within the team.

Work collaboratively with partners across health, education, legal, and voluntary sectors to ensure coordinated, multi-agency responses to safeguarding and wellbeing needs.

Promote a culture of high-quality, strengths-based practice, actively engaging in supervision, peer learning, and continuous professional development within Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
