View JobWe are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Assistant Team Manager to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). As ATM, you will support the Team Manager in coordinating safeguarding responses, supervising staff, and ensuring timely and accurate decision-making. This role is critical to the front door of safeguarding, making it ideal for experienced social workers ready to step into leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support MASH social workers, ensuring timely screening and triage of referrals in line with safeguarding thresholds.

Coordinate with multi-agency professionals (e.g., police, education, health) to assess risk and share information effectively.

Quality-assure decision-making and case records, maintaining high standards of practice and data accuracy.

Support performance management and service development, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
