We are seeking an experienced and confident Locum Advanced Practitioner (QSW) to provide expert practice oversight, mentoring, and support across a busy frontline children’s team. This role blends complex casework with leadership, helping to drive quality and consistency in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- 
Lead on complex casework: Manage high-risk or court-involved cases and provide consultation on complex safeguarding matters. 
- 
Support and mentor social workers: Offer guidance, reflective supervision, and case advice to less experienced team members. 
- 
Promote high standards of practice: Ensure all work meets statutory requirements and aligns with best practice and local procedures. 
- 
Contribute to service development: Play an active role in quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
