Tripod Partners are seeking a Band 6 Registered Children’s Nurse (RNC) to support a specialist children’s service delivering short breaks and clinical support for children and young people with complex additional needs. You will lead on assessments, support carers, provide training, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery of care within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct health assessments and develop care plans for children with complex needs
-
Support foster carers and short break providers with training and clinical advice
-
Manage complex caseloads and contribute to risk assessments and care reviews
-
Participate in carer recruitment, reviews, and service development
-
Chair multi-agency meetings and maintain compliance with safeguarding and clinical frameworks
Requirements:
-
Registered Nurse (Children) with active NMC registration
-
Significant post-qualification experience in community or clinical settings
-
Experience managing complex cases and delivering training to care staff
-
Knowledge of disability, neurodevelopmental needs, and safeguarding procedures
-
Strong communication and leadership skills
-
Full compliance with clinical governance and CPD expectations
