Tripod Partners are looking for a CAMHS Crisis Practitioner (Band 6 or Band 7) to join a busy team based in Aylesbury. The role involves working flexibly across 7 days, providing urgent mental health assessments and interventions for children and young people experiencing high-risk mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct urgent mental health assessments for children and young people.
- Develop care plans in collaboration with young people, families, and external agencies.
- Deliver brief interventions to support crisis resolution.
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies to ensure safe and effective care pathways.
- Complete risk assessments and implement safeguarding measures where appropriate.
Position Details: Location: Aylesbury Duration: 3 months Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible across 7 days Pay Rates:
- Band 6: £26.55 per hour (weekday), £32.88 per hour (nights/Saturday), £50.24 per hour (Sunday/Bank Holiday)
- Band 7: £30.33 per hour (weekday), £38.21 per hour (nights/Saturday), £50.24 per hour (Sunday/Bank Holiday)
Requirements:
- Professional qualification and registration in Social Work, Mental Health Nursing (RMN), or Occupational Therapy.
- Experience of working with children and young people who have complex mental health needs.
- Knowledge and experience of risk assessment and management.
- CAMHS crisis experience, including urgent assessments of high-risk cases.
