London Borough of Bexley Council is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to support the Adult Inpatient service. This role will focus on undertaking Best Interest Assessments and delivering high-quality occupational therapy for adults within a general medicine setting.

  • Undertake Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements

  • Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients

  • Provide rehabilitation and support tailored to individual needs within general medicine

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centred care

  • Recommend, prescribe, and oversee the use of equipment and adaptations to support daily living

  • Contribute to service development and provide guidance to junior staff where required
