Job Details: Orthopaedics. Knowledge of Trauma and Orthopaedics – procedures/post op care/ rehabilitation and discharge of patients having undergone Surgery both elective and traumatic.
Understanding of D2A pathways and strength-based approach to identifying needs of patients related to their discharge from the acute hospital setting.
A practical knowledge of post operative lower Limb amputee care in terms of Occupational Therapy process linked to seating/movement/rehabilitation and discharge.
Caseload management skills. Integrated working with Physiotherapy Team in patient care and pathway decisions. Must have evidence of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Speciality. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday (possibility of weekend cover 1 week in 4). Day shifts.
