Role Summary:

Lead the occupational therapy provision within the Adult Autism Service.
-
Manage and develop pre-diagnostic and brief post-diagnostic service provision.
-
Conduct specialist OT assessments addressing sensory needs, executive functioning, and daily living skills.
-
Provide pre- and post-diagnostic support, including interventions tailored to autistic adults.
-
Consult and liaise with other professionals working with autistic individuals.

Work as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements & Experience:
-
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration.
-
Understanding of communication challenges in autistic individuals; ability to adapt communication accordingly.
-
Qualification in sensory integration or equivalent experience; in-post training available.
-
Experience in various clinical OT settings, including working with complex mental health issues.
-
Knowledge of clinical risk assessment and management.
-
Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills; able to work independently and innovatively.
-
Ability to work flexibly across multiple environments and travel efficiently within the area.
Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 (shifts).
