View JobEaling Council is seeking an experienced and reliable Locum Social Worker to join our Adults Safeguarding and Aged Care team. This vital role involves safeguarding vulnerable adults, particularly older people, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and independence. The successful candidate will provide high-quality assessments, manage safeguarding enquiries, and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver effective care and protection.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014 to protect adults at risk.

Conduct person-centred assessments and reviews, focusing on older adults with complex needs.

Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 to assess capacity and support best interest decisions.

Liaise with health, housing, and voluntary sector partners to coordinate care and support.

Maintain accurate, timely records and reports in compliance with Ealing Council’s policies and statutory requirements.
