Key Responsibilities
- Safeguarding Enquiries: Lead and support enquiries into abuse or neglect, ensuring compliance with the Care Act (2014) and other relevant legislation
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with specified agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive support and protection for adults with care and support needs
- Risk Management: Implement safeguarding risks and benefits into care planning, empowering adults within a risk enablement and strengths-based approach
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and produce reports for court and audit purposes, ensuring professional standards are upheld
